I was at some kind of Aikido meeting in South Seattle, in street clothes (not a gi), sitting around a large wood table in some kind of office or meeting room. I recognized some of my old friends from Aikido. A type of third-party businessperson was giving a pitch for something, and we each had to deposit $40 right then and there. I found I did not have $40 so I went outside to find an ATM. I got on a bus which I thought would go a short distance to an ATM. On the bus was my good friend Al. The bus drove on a long time and I asked Al about it - he said that the bus was a longer route bus going up north. Eventually the bus broke down north of Seattle and we all had to get out. There was a dark building on the right skinned with some type of glossy dark slate or stone. Ahead was an open asphalt recreation/basketball field with a brick building (like a school) behind it and over to the right. On the left were ordinary one-story storefronts. We got out near the dark building. I asked the driver how far it would be if I had to walk back to where I had come from and he asked "how far can you walk?" I said "In these shoes, about 10 miles." He replied "It's 27 miles." After that I noticed that a cab was at the curb, and I remembered then that the bus driver had called it for me. The driver's door was open, and in the back seat was an unrealistically large dog, maybe 200 pounds. It had a mouth full of jagged spiked teeth that jutted out from the upper and lower jaw towards the front of the snout, and the dog resembled a huge and deformed rottweiler with curly hair like a Foo dog. The eyes were fearsome and small and beady. In the dream it seemed normal that this was not really a dog but some other type of creature like a Foo dog. The right eye was fairly normal but the left eye socket had two eyes side by side. The dog seemed to neither like nor dislike me. I turned around and saw the driver, and recognized him as the same driver who always ferried me around in Seattle (which is not true in reality), and he likewise recognized me. His face was very similar to the dog's face but the features were less pronounced and he didn't have the double-eye anomaly. I remember being comfortable getting in the cab despite the scary appearance of the dog and driver. Then I woke up. The weird thing is that the GPS clock showed 1:11, which is a time that I have superstitions about (also have eerie feelings about 11:11).
