Wearing Torn Shirt at School

I'm working with school kids on a project. Somehow, my shirt gets torn to shreds. It hangs from my body in tatters. I notice it while walking past a mirror and I hurry to cover up with a jacket or another shirt. Thing is, I can't find anything else and I start to panic and fear the kids will notice and think I'm weird and freak out. An strange man with no shirt who looks obese and a bit deranged approaches me and backs me into a corner and says "You need to calm down." Then kids show up to see what's going on. I wake up tugging at my night shirt and relieved it was just a dream.

    Well, if you're "weird", you're at least in good company with this strange, topless, overweight and deranged gentleman; and those students will be flipping coins to decide which one of you gets First Prize. Are you perhaps, in waking life, in a situation where "topless and tattered", in whatever metaphorical way, is the new norm? However undesirable?

    I think it's about exposure, or being exposed as incompetent. I may look "decent" on the outside, but inside I feel "naked" like nothing to cover up for the fact that my "outlook" is in tatters.

    It has to do with my last job (working in a school) and the fact I'm disabled (bum leg) and can't find work.

    What's interesting is that, however weird that man may be, his advice makes sense.

    I am finding it hard to find a good home school for my 4 years old son. He always want to play and is least interested in learning anything. Now planning to send her to a Phoenix preschool. I think it would be beneficial for him.
