Ah *sigh* I had yet again another lengthy, overly detailed dream. Only this time, my mom shook me out of it and almost instantly it was gone. I was crushed because it was really deep and confusing. It didn't seem to be very useful at all. If anything, just bits of things I was thinking about recently.
So....
All I remember is that I was a part of a group of people, some friends, some not, and I let them use this weird house. It had belonged to someone evil, I think. Someone we defeated earlier in the dream I guess. Anyway, I lent it to them to use. It was crazy looking. There was all this abstract trippy stuff inside. And something about the windows was very important, but it was lost to me when my mom woke me up.
Anyways, one among us was this (random) sap of a guy who was always gloomy cuz he had lost someone he loved a long time ago. The rest of us decided to call her ghost to come console him cuz he was bringing the mood down, lol. She did, but she never said a word. He talked forever, trying to relate past happy times, and she only smiled at him. But eventually she just kinda cut him off and left us all hanging. She left with someone else. I don't think he was a ghost, but Idk. I can't really remember. The sappy guy was devastated that she just left like that, smiling all the time. She was just ready to leave, I guess. :\ There was something more to that that made it sadder--something the guy said, I think, but I can't remember what it was now.
After that, my logic professor of all people, who we had talked to earlier in the dream, finally got back to us. We had asked him to look something up for us. He called us over to his house, where we found him in little more than his boxers and in the company of a beautiful girl. I had little opinion of it in light of new info coming in, but I had the feeling that whatever he had been doing previously had gotten interrupted by a sudden epiphany. Lol.
He seemed somewhat bothered, or just excited/nervous/what have you. He said he was gonna show us something. He was like, "This," and stepped out of the way to get it, but as if it was meant to be, there was a sign behind him. His whole house, of course, was piled high with all kinds of odds and ends. The sign was just propped up against a desk, about a foot high and two or so feet wide. It looked like a giant Lite Brite board with big pegged-in numbers that said, "2018." The focus was on this as though it was something very ominous. I never did get to see what he really had meant to show us, cuz just then, my mom rattled me out of it.
