The first part of the dream, I'm back working at my old place in the wood mill. Funny thing is, it's not full-time but an on-call position like the job I do now. It's extremely dusty in here and I'm thinking I;m glad I don't have to do this every day.
I take a break and talk to some women who are education technicians (which is what I now have a degree in). They tell me, as we sit in a classroom, that it's hard to spent as much time with the students that they need when they have to run the machines. It's like the two jobs are connected and I suggest finding someone full-time to run the machines (but not me) so they can spend more time with the students.
Later, I dream that I'm a guest at my friend's house. The friend is my religious cousin but in the dream she's not married and has no kids. The house is huge, with many rooms and paneled. The guest room contains a bed that appears to be under the floor boards that are smooth and newly waxed. I turn back the covers and it's a normal bed. I decide to go to the bathroom and on my way to finding it, the house is full of guests and it's spitting snow outside. I think about leaving mainly because I didn't pack an overnight bag but also because of the weather.
As I find a room that resembles a bathroom, people go in and stay a long time. I head toward it when someone else beats me to it. I wonder down a hall and see a sink and a toilet and think I'm in luck when I realize that the toilet is directly under the sink and there's no way I can use it. A former Headmaster of the school I used to work at shows up and goes into the tiny room and closes the curtain that's in the doorway. I see it's easier for him to use and I go on further and see that another bathroom has a very long waiting line. Its so long that people begin leaving in groups to go down the road to use the local drugstore's bathroom.
