There's a cougar cub and an adult cougar in a cage. I dont' think this is a good idea to have them together. Sure enough, the adult cougar grabs the cub by the neck and shakes it until it is dead. Then some guys come along and start beating the cougar with a long stick through the bars in the cage. The animal is defenseless and I'm very upset. I plead and cry "Please don't. He doesn't know why this is happening. He doesn't understand, he doesn't understand!!" I think at this point I'm yelling and pleading with someone over the phone.

I dont' know where this came from or why I had this dream, but it was in the early waking hours.
