I'm sharing a room (in a hotel or apartment I'm not sure) with a young woman and the place is a mess but a cleaning crew comes in and cleans things up. I ride in a elevator with my cousin and it's really rickety and more like a closet with loose hinges than a secure ride. I squeeze my way out of it on my floor and some weird people come into my place and my roommate tells me to act friendly with them and they will leave us alone after a while. But if we engage them in any type of hostility, they will become ruthless and violent.

One of the men, who is black and is wearing a lot of bling, compliments me on my jewelry (I don't wear it in reality). I thank him and smile pleasantly. The people, I'm assuming are all related, sit in our chairs and make themselves at home and I'm trying to come up with an excuse to leave, such as an important meeting or appointment.

Then I see a cat that resembles my cat Paws sitting and his ears are sort of back and straight out and he looks dirty on his head and nose. One of the family, a kid of about 11 or 12, says it was funny watching him drink some dirty water. I sense that the cat was fed the water, not drank it voluntarily. He yawned and his tongue is green and he acts very lethargic like he's about to fall over. I become very emotionally upset and my mother is now here and sitting in a chair and I pick up the cat and tell her, with a shaky voice, that he's very sick.

I wake up making a loud sobbing noise.
