I know there was stuff happening in the dream before the memorable part, but this is what I remember. I exit that part of the dream and enter a room where I see my sister laying over our dad and moaning something like "No, no, no..." Dad is laying still with his arms and hands palms up, like someone raising both hands. My brother-in-law is saying "Dad, dad, dad!" as if trying to wake him. My mother is leaning against a railing and I'm standing next to her. I see the scene on the floor and I turn to Ma and ask "What's happened, ma? What's happened?" She doesn't answer but only looks solemn and dazed.

reality: My dad's health isn't the greatest. He's had great pain on his left side and has a clogged artery in his neck. He hasn't been well enough to get the surgery he needs and I'm concerned about this. Today, Ma told me that he canceled his appointment (again) with the surgeon because he was sick throwing up last night.
