I'm working in my capacity as an ed. tech, but my student is absent so I have to take his place. His 9th grade science teacher has given an assignment that I didn't give him all the instructions for. I'm forced to admit that sometimes I miss things and I missed the extra assignment. It involved going to some type of special show involving zoo animals. It's too late now.

Then he hands out these cards with pictures on them and we have one ribbon for each card and we have to place a ribbon over the things that are either alike or dissimilar. I look at the directions at the top but they make no sense. We also have to take a protractor, a metal object with a hole at the top for a pencil, and paper and make special geometric designs. I laugh and tell the teacher that we are just going to have to wait until my student comes back before I attempt it.
