The dream begins where I’m being shown an assortment of pastries such as cake, danishe’s, and donuts. A young woman hands me a small plate and puts a slice of vanilla cake on it to sample.

Then the scene switches and I’m to make meals for a bunch of school kids. What they are doing in my kitchen and why isn’t known but it doesn’t seem to be important. I decide to fix them something quick and easy and decide to make them peanut butter and jam sandwiches.

I take out the strawberry jam and spread a thick layer on a slice of bread when I see the seeds are particularly large and find it odd. I think they resemble rice. Then I think maybe there’s something wrong with the jam. I look closer and watch and then am appalled when the "seeds" move and realize it’s maggots!

GROSS!

I throw the whole jar and the slice of bread in the trash and tell the woman with the kids that the jam had to be thrown out.

Before I can think about what to feed them next, I wake up.
