Someone is saying, in one of those disconnected voices you just hear in dreams, that Martin Luther King Jr. did what he did out of revenge. I see newspaper clippings of marches and protests. Apparently, he had an ulterior motive. What it was isn't clear to me now, but it had something to do with undermining the established order. The plan was called "I Had a Dream."

Of course, in reality his motive was to topple the established order of racism in America.

There was also another part of the dream where I'm swimming in a pool on a sidewalk as people walk by. I'm towel drying off in an alley behind an old curtain.
