I'm in a place like a factory and my student's mother is here and she's trying to carry on a conversation with me and I tell her that Im late for a job, as substituting position at a school. She continues to follow me until I remember I'm going in the wrong direction. I turn around and go out side and remove snow from my car and think about stopping somewhere first to get something for lunch.

I end up in a class with another adult but I'm not sure if its a teacher or not. We have the kids (high schoolers) outdoors and I'm sitting under some high trees with a student who appears older than her classmates and smoking a cigarette. I think about asking her for a drag of it, but I think it would get me fired. I remark how dark the clouds look on the horizon. She finds this amusing. The other students are across the field under the trees when it starts to rain. We arent' getting that wet due to the shelter under the trees. Some students decide to get wet and go out into the open field. I tell them they don't want to get wet but I'm ignored.
