I'm in a school setting and the power keeps shutting off while the halls fill with fog and it rains indoors. There's excitement in the air at the idea of getting out of school early because of it. I find a towel and put in on my head to soak up the rain.
Then I'm on the phone to my friend Sylvia from the school and I'm telling her about how the students seem to be acting strangely--getting riled up over the election of a president. It's confusing because the "president" is supposed to be from Russia, so why are the students excited? A group of boys run down from a hill to the space I'm talking, which is now outdoors, and they know there's going to be bloodshed between the U.S. and Russia and they are looking forward to war.
Now I'm in a room in a strange house. The character from Law & Order: SVU named Olivia Benson is privy to secret information that she can't share but is vital for our survival--"our" meaning everyone. I'm talking to someone, a young woman with blond hair, who knows something too that she won't share with me. I'm talking in a mirror where Benson can see me (she's on the other side of it ) but I can't see her. I can't even see myself in it! She tells me I must be strong for what's coming.
Then I'm being led away with other people including members of my family--my parents, my nephew, and a couple of his friends. We are being driven to an unknown location. For what purpose isn't known either but I suggested to my dad that they are going to separate us and we'll never see each other again and we'll be forced to do labor or go to war; at least those that are physically able.
If they don't kill me, they'll make me work with my hands at a bench. My dad insists they won't separate us forever and things will be OK. I can't tell if he's just trying to make me feel better or he really believes this. Then I remember the cats--Paws and Wiley. In reality, Wiley died a year ago. I say to my mother--"Ma, Paws and Wiley!" I worry how they will survive if they stay in the house and aren't' fed. My mother and I start to cry and I wake up giving a short cry out.
disturbing. the raining indoors also happened in "Water Coming Down from the Ceiling."
