Coyote-Cat

I had this dream around a month ago? Not sure, but here goes:

I remember standing in my house, except it was more like a combination of my dorm room and my old house (that I recently moved from). There's a wall with windows at either of 2 catty corners (and maybe windows along the center, but I don't recall that well). I look out one window, then run to the other--the one on the right--and it's because I see this massive bird flying around. Well,2, actually. There's a smaller one and a bigger one. The smaller one has longer, more narrow wings. The big one has more stout, wedge-shaped wings. It has a dark mahogany color to it, while the smaller one leans more toward grey. They're the biggest birds I've ever seen. I'm pretty sure they must be the largest ones in the world.

So, I'm then outside with my phone because I want to take a picture as proof. The thing is that outside, there are hills with lots of trees on them--a forest going far back. It's not like where I lived before, but more like where I am now (Wyoming). I end up in an area near a drop off. There's a big rock-boulder thing on one side of this area with no trees, with trees surrounding it.

I remember that I found a giant coyote-cat creature. That's what I knew it was. It was kind of tallish for a cat, and boxy. But its face was too pushed in to be a dog. It was just a combination of the 2. Only, I can't get close cause it keeps evading me in the woods. I don't remember now which one of the 2 it is, but I know that the larger one was not as friendly as the smaller one. I would almost call the big one slightly angry, but not quite. The smaller one was more laid back.

At some points in the dream, they have wings, and sometimes they don't. At some point, one of them (I think the larger) perches high up on this rock nest... thing. I go over to that area, I think to somewhere just higher, and look at it, and looks less like the lynx it resembled before, but more like a leopard or jaguar or something like that. It's just chilling out, sort of stretched out, lying on its side. It seems very different from how it was before. I dunno why, though. Anyway, it's lying on a bed of grass and straw-like stuff, as well as leaves. It's like an area it had previously prepared, but it's thin, so probably not that comfortable... just sort of... half halfheartedly assembled, I guess.

Anyway, I think that's about it.
