I'm in a church that's situated in a school--the school I work at to be exact. I'm attending these services as part of research I'm doing for an assignment. What that assignment is isn't clear but I'm observing the services. We sit on the floor in a bar room and the sermon's have to do with creationism.

Later, I come back from my job as an ed. tech and attend another service. This time there are tables and chairs and teachers are attending as well. We all take turns as to why we are here and I'm first. I announce that I believe in evolution and schools should teach it, even private schools that aren't Christian.

Then I walk over to a bench and there are old 45 records there and I tell a woman that I used to shop here for records and this is how I looked at them ---- demonstrating how I would take a stack and flip them over to see the label.

I think seeing a video of a young man who fought to preserve the teaching of evolution in Lousiana schools inspired this dream.
