I have made toast. The bread was made with eggs that make the bread unusually thick. The eggs, which are very large and silver, come from birds that hatch them on roof tops where it gets hot during the summer. This is how they incubate. The birds hatch fully grown and resemble seagulls but are very aggressive.

I'm living in the house I did growing up and some eggs are in the living room waiting to hatch near the wood stove. I want to remove them but fear the eggs are coated with a poison and could hatch in my hands. I go outside and see about 5 or 6 ready to hatch on our rooftop.
