I'm in a dark, cluttered, unkept living room sitting on the couch. My dad comes in with a tray with paper shreds that are sitting in a round cup and paper cut up into the shape of puzzle pieces with printed words on them. These are arranged in the shape of a layered fruit or vegtable. He says to me "You've got to read this article."

I pick up some of the shreds and see words but no coherent meaning. The same is true with the puzzle pieces. I say "I can't read this, it's all cut up into pieces."

Then a woman is standing here and she's wearing a rod on her head with dangling emblems like a fish and something else. She sort of looks like lady justice but wearing modern clothing. I can't remember now what she's saying.

Now I'm sweeping up debris and dust from this room. It's everywhere, even on pillows and I sweep those too.

These were scenes from a longer dream, but I've forgotten the rest.
