The dream starts off with a visitor to our family home. Can't tell when and where it is, the house doesn't resemble my original family home. The time of year isn't clear either, but it's not cold or snowy.

A young man goes into my bedroom and puts something in his pocket. I yell "Thief!" Ma asks what's wrong. I yell "He stole something from my room." To him I yell "Put it back!" He smiles and puts it back. It was a little stuffed toy.

Then we (my and the young man-thief) are outside and see a woman smoking a cigarette from her butt. Someone else is holding the cigarette up to her butt and smoke comes out of it like it's blowing the smoke out. She turns and smiles. It's then I realize she's no ordinary human. Her mouth opens up into a ghoulish yawn and bloody membrane comes out.

Now we're living in a scenario where humans are being taken over by an alien presence. I see several human heads on the side of a dirt mound with bloody membrane out of the mouths and necks.

Now I'm among people who are in the process of merging with the alien force, having both human and alien characteristics. Those people are drawn to a gate in a scene like out of a fantasy with red and golden hues and a woman gatekeeper that resembles a beautiful witch. The ones in transition go through willingly and with smiles. They are completed to the aliens bodies and minds on the other side---much like "Invasion of the Body Snatchers." I watch this but because I'm not alien, I leave feeling a bit freaked out.

Then I meet up with a young woman on a bridge and we are aiming to cross it. For what purpose I can't remember. I sense it's to get away from the aliens. The bridge isn't whole. There's a huge gap that some people have been able to jump across to the other side. I see some people who have attempted it and are now swimming back to our side. I wonder how they will get back up to the bridge from such a drop.

When I woke up this morning, I felt feverish and very hot in the face.
