    Christmas Day!

Last night was a typical dream for me where the setting is a mixture of my former and current job.

The bits I remember occured in a night time setting in a hallway and classroom, a cafeteria line, in a parking lot, and in a public bathroom.

At one point, some teenagers have a radio/CD player and they are playing loud rap music in the hallway and I tell them from a classroom across the hall that it may be against the rules. They assure me they got permission, although I doubt it.

Then its lunch time (yet it appears nighttime) and I have some food that I assume I brought with me but I'm waiting in line to get a drink. I get up to the counter and not knowing for sure what I want, and seeing there is a long line behind me, I say the first thing that comes to mind---apple juice. I'm not crazy about apple juice but that's what I ask for and am given. I think to myself, I hope this doesn't give me diarrhea.

The next thing I remember I'm in a car load of people and we are going to the store--although we're still on the job--and its still nighttime. The driver reminds me of a woman I used to know from church. Instead of driving out, she puts it in reverse and I yell "What are you doing?" She tells me that she decided to park in another spot so she can drive out easily. I accept this although it doesn't make sense because she could have driven out easily in the other spot we were parked in.

Then we're back on the job and its accepted that this is our last day. Its a factory setting now and they hired a new person and I ask her why they hired her if the place is closing. She says they needed extra help. We are to work on a product soldering computer components onto computer boards (a job I did in reality a few years ago). Our supervisor is a case manager for the special needs student I work with now. I suggest to her that we each work on soldering just one component and it will help production move much faster and she agrees as she talks on the phone to a student's parent.

In the last scene before waking, I'm in a bathroom stall with another woman and we hunt for a door to put on it because there is none. We find one outside in the dark and it's a thin wooden hand made structure and place it in the doorway. As we sit in our stalls, someone proceeds to kick it, knocking it off the frame. I yell "Who is it?"

    end
