My wife keeps having the same dream everytime I'm traveling out of town:

A strong hand is holding her hand tight, and she wakes up right away. When she wakes up her arm hurts.

This is all of the detail she gave me and all the detail she says there is.
I did tell her I would ask for help in intrepreting her dream, and she says it's not a dream it's REAL.

Please let me know if you have any questions or can help interpret the dream.

    Hi!

I 'll start by asking some questions. Do you or your wife hold any religious beliefs such that would contain angels or spirits?

Is your wife frightend to be alone when you are gone out of town? Not frightened by the hand holding experience, but just doesnt' like to be alone in the house at night?

She said it is "real." Does she believe it is an actual presence that is holding her hand?

Yes, my wife believes in Angels.

Yes, my wife is frightened when I'm out of town. We do have live in a "safe" neighborhood, have a 110lb+ dog, and have a security alarm system.

I asked if she felt it was a "presence" and she said she doesn't know, but she said, Why does my arm hurt when I wake up. She then said, it must be she is gripping the hand hard and the hand is gripping her hard.
She said the presence doesn't feel evil or scary.
She doesn't know if it is a male or female hand.

One additional item, her Mom passed away after a long illness in October. She said the hand doesn't feel like hers in any way shape or form.

It seems like the "strong hand" is her unconscious way of fulfilling the need to be comforted when you are gone.

However, the fact that her hand hurts when she wakes up may mean that she sometimes needs to let go. Maybe it's a way of saying she should relax and enjoy herself more when you are gone, maybe go out with friends or even just enjoy the fact that she has fewer dirty dishes to wash

If she is frightened of being alone at night despite living in a safe neighbourhood and your having many safety precautions, she might consider taking some self defence classes to feel more confident.
