In my dream I am in a new home that I currently just moved into. This home is huge. After a few days of living in the home I get the feeling there is a evil presence there. I am in a room with a few other people that i do not know and we keep looking behind us like something is there and we are scared. The dream then switches to a different room in the house where I am with a priest. I noticed candles lit on a tall stand and on the fireplace. The priest is on one side of the room holding a bible. I get the feeling here is there to help me get rid of the thing that is evil. He then starts to read quotes from the bible when all of a sudden this black evil ghost appears next to him. It starts to fly and knocks over the candles, the thing then immediatly flies into this opening in the wall and it closes. The priest tells me he is gone but may come back and that if he does come back i must deal with it on my own. He then takes me over to a giant book and opens it and starts to explain to me how to get rid of it if the ghost does come back, but i do not remember one single thing he told me at this point. Is there a meaning to this dream i should be concerned about?

Is Christianity an important part of your life, or did you recently read a book or see a film about evil spirits/the devil, etc? Either could explain the type of images in your dream.

A house often represents yourself. Since you just moved into the house, it could refer to something that has just changed in your life, or a change that you are thinking about or that is about to happen. The evil presence could be something you are unsure or worried about. The priest is something or someone (it doesn't have to be another person, it could be an aspect of yourself) that can help you deal with this problem. In the end, when the priest tells you that you have to deal with it yourself, it's your way of telling yourself that you have to deal with your concerns on your own.

Christianity is not really a part of our family nor have i seen any scary movies lately. I did just start reading a book from John Auken/Edgar Cayce about the Universal Consciousness and reincarnation so maybe it has something to do with it. Thanks
