Hello All. I am new to this forum. I felt it was necessary for me to join so that I can speak to a few members who are experienced with interpreting dreams.

About 2 days ago or so I had a dream where the world was going to end by flood. A friend whom I did not recognize told me to go to the top of this building and take the people I love with me. I brought my parents and Rich (this guy who I was previously seeing but ended things, but I tried rekindling things with but he refuses to speak with me because he was very hurt and angry) and he brings along his two brothers. All of a sudden as we are all on the top waiting I realize I forgot my two pets. I jump off the roof to get them and just as I have them in my arms the flood comes and whisks me away. But it was not a brutal harsh tidal wave, I sort of floated in the water. And I found a flotation device to put my pets in while I swam in the water. Just then we arrive at an island. My pets go along themselves in search of food. A tribe finds me and grabs me to bring to their king. The king is Rich. I ask how he got there and he said that when he saw that the flood was coming and I was not on the roof he jumped off to try and save me. We then look into each others eyes and regardless of being on an island, we were so happy to be together.

A flood in a dream can stand for being flooded with emotions, so the flood that was going to end the world could represent your sadness at Rich not wanting to speak to you. It could also reprsent his hurt and anger.

Pets are things that you take care of, so your remembering that you forgot your pets could mean that you want to be taken care of.

Rich being King and trying to save you could mean that you hope that he will make you feel better by getting back with you. His being King means that you feel that he has control over how you are feeling.
