I woke up and wrote this like a story.

Today's the last day on earth I'm collecting mangoes and storing them in another hollowed out fruit and put that fruit in a bag. Thinking that I was ready to catch the train I remember I can't go anywhere without my knife so I run back home and pick it up. After going home I end up in school and everyone is sad and grieving. I'm running up and down stairs to look for one teacher of mines and I can't find them. Then another one of my teachers forces me to attend the last day on earth assembly. But when we're walking down the stairs I ran towards the door when we got to that level. I moved quick and headed towards the train. At the train stop there's one of my classmates and we talk about death and stuff like that until he left on the train. he was smoking and I had some too so I got a cigarette out from my hollow fruit case and it was already lit but from the inside and it was burning near the mouth already. I rapped paper around it to see if I could put out the flame but I burnt the paper so I just put it out. . I didn't know the path to the train because it was under construction, but I found it. I had to jump across platforms but I soon fell of after the second platform so I came back near the construction workers. I'm waiting for the street light to turn red so I can cross when all of a sudden I see a runaway car headed for me and I get hit but I just got pushed back a little. So the construction workers got an axe and broke the window and out comes a girl that was tied up and had a rag tied around her mouth. I think she got raped and then the raper drove her towards the electrical nonsense I was standing by and bailed out. We talk to her and my I can't say a word, I lost my voice.

When I finally catch the train, I end up at my cousin's house and she's cooking and I tried helping. In one moment they were trying to talk to me and I respond but I had headphones on and I take them off and see that I can't talk.

What I wanted to know was. What does the cigarette burning from the inside near the mouth mean.

The theme of the last day on earth makes me think that this dream is about something that is changing in your life. (Would your choice of user name have anytihingto do with this?)

Fruits are associated with nourishment, abundance and pleasure (sweetness).

Collecting the mangoes could have to do with strengthening yourself and preparing yourself for change - trying to keep yourself happy no matter wht.

The fact that you are storing a fruit within another yet another fruit could have to do with you not wanting things to change.

School and teachers could have to do with learning from the past.

A train ride is related to your journey in life. All of the problems that keep you from getting on the train have to do with fears about failing at somethng in life.

I think the burning cigarette has to do with a force that you can't control.

What made you think that the little girl in the dream was raped? It sounds like the little girl represents a part of you that feels it has been victimized in some way.

Thanks for your response, it makes sense. Where did you learn how to find meanings to things?

To be honest, a lot of it comes from studying literature and mythology. The archetypes and symbols in myths are the same ones that exist in our dreams. It all has to do with the way we collectively use symbols to illustrate our thoughts and emotions. Jung's concept of the Collective Unconscious touches on this.

I am only speaking for myself.
