Hello fellow dreamers! I just found this site... Looks like it may be really helpful.

Yes, i am a dreamer, usually i can't remember much because i am currently working full time in the morning so the alarm clock prevents me from remembering anything.

Well, i am off today, and boy was my brain active this morning.

I just need some help with interpretation. I realise that everyone sees things differently, but i just don't know what to make of these dreams.

ok, first of all, a little about me, I am 24, in a steady delightful relationship and am happy. My job is a little intense but we have many friends. Things are cool.

I am originally from 8hrs north of here. Kind of HAD to get out of that small rediculous town where there isn't much room to grow, especially artistically. Anyhow, when i first moved out on my own, i moved to a smaller town nearby to do my OACs. Well needless to say i partied it away and met so many people that first year away from home. That was like 5 yrs ago. I kind of lost touch with everyone over the years. Moved to my present location for college but ended up staying here because i fell in love with the most awesome guy in the world.

While i lived up north doing my OACs, i met many people and dated a little but didn't have any relationships, but i did fall in love with the area. Currently i love where we live now- i am so at home here now.
But back then it was my first taste of freedom so i think that is what i loved the most. The town was small, the high school i went to was suprisingly large, i guess all the little towns sent their kids to the same school. It had like 1500 kids. This is all real. Haven't started talking about the dream yet. Just want you to know about me first.

So sometimes i think about the friends i had back then, but everyone moves on in life. Like, most of the friends i had now live in other places and the friends i have here now are real friends. I still talk to one girl who was my best friend from up north. But she moved to Alberta-go figure. Also , before i begin i would like to mention that the guy in this dream appeared in other past dreams as well. One of them was that he cornered me in an airport (where i was with my current boyfriend) and said very bluntly '' You are the woman that i am going to marry'' and that was it. The weird part is that i dated this guy like 5 yrs ago for only about 2 weeks. I knew him at school before we dated we know all the same people. Also, there were numerous parties at his house that i went to and we kind of liked each other for awhile. When it came down to it i asked him out officially while we were dating and he said no cuz he was going off to school. It pretty much ended there, i moved and after a few years met the coolest man and we are so in love. But there are tons of people that meant way more to me that do not appear in my dreams, why???? My boyfriend is always in every dream that i have. Sometimes i wonder if something happended to that guy of if it is some kind of message. Also one week after i moved here, i ran into 2 of his cousins. That is really weird since i had just moved here and this city is about 7 hrs from that town. While i dated him, i stayed at his house alot, that was when i left my parents house ( kind of like a teenage rebellion of sorts) just a little late for me i guess. Anyway so much has happened since then, i have so much fun here, why does he reappear. Also, i never think about him, i only see him in my dreams every once in awhile.

Dream> ok here is my dream, please tell me what you think.
Anyway, it starts out my boyfriend and i are going to that guy's house and he is having a party. (back then, he had a house to himself-not sure why). (In actuality my boyfriend has met some of my friends from there, but only the ones with some importance.) So we go to this party . I didn't really know any of the people there(kind of like small town hicks). So we sat and had some beer. We slept in the basement. It seemed as though i wanted to introduce my boyfriend to him. (In actuality i always share dreams with my bf, he does the same with me). dream continued> so we heard a door open , it was him. So he came downstairs, he had no clue who we were, did not recognise me. So when he walked past into the other room i went to say hi. He seemed weirded out and really suprised to see me. Anyway, he and i ended up talking outside and he said he wanted me to stay and that we could move to the next bigger town together . (In actuality i always felt as though he regreted saying no. I just left, i think he thought i would have been around when he got back). The weird part about all this is that normally i wouldn't care at all about this. My life is going well, these dreams weird me out. What makes it weird is that they seem so real. All the dialogue seems as though it really happened. So in the dream i had to decide what to do, so i went back down south with my current bf (duh
) but remember it seeming messy when we got back.I had to chose between up north and down south and between the 2 of them. I love my bf so much so i hate having to share these dreams with him. He is really open though, he thinks it's weird too.


What do you think. Please help. Also, i just remember there was another dream that he was in a while ago and it was that i was hanging out on this porch thing, and he came out, saw me and came rushing to me and hugged me and it seemed like on a cartoon, like bright and strings flying everywhere and such. So weird.
I am a sensitive person so i get weirded out maybe too easily, what do you think? My bf is really spiritual and in tune, so i think it is playing a role with me, but why him, why not someone else??

I have had dreams where i talked to a person that was dead before telling me that something else happened, so go figure.

Please tell me what you get from all of this.

That seems pretty much it. The dream was about choices. Once I got through the chatter, I came to the conclusion that you are not quite sure what path to take, either where to live or whom to spend your life with.

You do love your boyfriend I'm sure, but perhaps there are some things about your previous love interest that you wish your current boyfriend possessed. You are still young yet and I think the dream may be a warning not to take things too quickly. Relax! Remember to focus on the things you love about your bf that he does possess, and not what you wish he had.

I agree with Ponderer's post about wish that your current bf had some of the same qualities as Mr. Left Behind.

However, I also believe that your subconscious mind is wondering what could have been with Mr. Left Behind.

Please do not be offended, but you seem to try and "over sell" your current bf, which gives me some indication that you know you are wondering about Mr. Left Behind and are having trouble admitting that to yourself. Thus, your dreams are reminding you that you need to deal with that issue and get past it in order to be completely happy with your current bf.

Don't worry though, I believe everyone wonders about someone who they were never actually with.
