I haven't posted a dream in this forum (except the dream diary one) for quite some time, so I thought I'd share this one here.

7-29-13

There's water pouring from the ceiling of a house I'm staying in and the occupants aren't home. At first, it appears to be sewerage, then turns into plain water. I'm playing a record, a track from Marilyn Manson and I keep playing one track over and over but I turn it off before the water spreads to it. My old friend Chester is here with some chick on the internet whose videos I watch sometimes. I tell them I've made reservations to a small restaurant at 7:00 and they're invited. The woman declines saying she needs to be someplace else.

Then I'm in a strange room (could be another room in the same house) and I'm talking to a young man about how I worked for this organization but quit the day before because they were cutting my pay and health insurance. I still have a the first check from them I hadn't cashed but plan to the next day before the expiration date.

End

Maybe the sewerage turning into plain water has to do with things getting better by themselves with time.

Or maybe less messy? But I want to take it as a positive sign because in most dreams that would be in reverse--the plain water turning into sewerage.

I think it is positive but it also makes me feel suspicious, something changing into something better without any effort involved. That is just my cynical nature, probably. No such thing as a free lunch.

I had a dream last night where I'm in a school setting and it gets foggy, humid, and rains---indoors. I posted the dream in my dream diary but in this dream, it's more of a nightmare scenario. I called it "dystopia" because that's just what it felt and looked like. The water coming down wasn't the main focus, but an element in a dream dealing with people being rounded up like the Jews were in Nazi Germany. I can't figure out what sparked the dreams either. I'm not sensing the day residue or any ah ha moments in which I can see how this relates to that.

It's one of those things that makes you go Hmmmm....
