1-30-07 I'm in a small house and it's nighttime. It is cold outside and I'm going through the house closing windows. "Why are all these windows open!?" I say to no one in particular. Then I'm outdoors in a field and its daytime but appears overcast. I'm among a group of people who are surrounding a pick-up truck and a young girl is laying in the back and moaning. "She's sick, she's very sick!" says a woman holding a blanket. "I don't know what to do." she says and hands the blanket to another woman. The woman gets into the back of the truck with the girl and wraps the blanket around her. "She's very sick" she says. The sick girl's skin has a pale bluish-green tint to it. Then I'm in a house. A young woman is standing at the front door, stalling a man who is forcing his way in. I'm holding a pair of earrings, silver with a swirling design. I'm putting them in my ears as the man forces his way in. I hide in a small parlor, crouching behind furniture. I'm very frightened but the man doesn't see me. Then I'm in a field with another woman and it's daytime. We are dressed in work uniforms that resemble hospital gowns. The field contains tall grass like corn stalks. In the distance, we see a funnel cloud come out of a cloud. Out of the funnel comes a jet fighter, huge and triangular. It flies overhead and written on the bottom is U.S.A. "At least it's one of ours" says the woman. I don't feel that assured. end
It sounds like a really similar theme to before, or sort of mixture between worries over the state of the country, its security etc, and the same worries about people being sick. I wonder if the windows closing represent your own symbolic windows or that of America's?
Dreams often occur in a series. What's going on now in my psyche fits that bill. I wondered about the windows. What you say resonates. A couple of other things that feel right about the interpretation is that the U.S. foreign policies have hurt our reputation as champions of democracy and good will in the world. Countries came to our aid after the Sep. 2001 attacks in offering to help us find out who was behind it. That was squanderd. The other meaning I feel is that passage of some legislation on Capital Hill has undermined our constitution. There's talk of regulating how we use the internet and making it more difficult to be used as a means of free communication. Windows is a double meaning--as in Windows software.
Yeah, I think the only reason so much of the internet is still free is that it's really hard to make it so it isn't. Still, people are doing their best so there's much less free/dom on the net than there was 10 years ago.
