I dreamt about a bully I really hated from when I was in Junior High (Im 22 years old now, so the character in the dream is from a long time ago). I really hated this guy, he was a jerk, ugly extremely fat, a druggie, we got into many fights and I hated whenever he was around, it always made me so anxious and I just wanted to leave class just so I wouldnt have to see him or deal with him. I had a dream him and I along with my family went to a theme park that I loved and always went to when I was a kid called wonderland (In near Toronto). He was with me in line for rides and we talked for a bit, I was trying hard to get along and he was still picking fights (arguments, nothing physical). My family and I seperated and the bully and I were together. Soon after, I am in this small plaza that was really crowded (which it never was) and close to my old junior high and Im with him. Suddenly I started to run, but the running was more like leaping (As if i was floating with every quick step i moved). I was hoping that I lost him because I remember he was the slowest runner and could never catch anyone. In the food court I see my family and I park myself next to them. We were talking amongst eachother and I kept my eye out to see if he was there, but he never showed up. I remember in the dream I saw my father's, Mother's and the bully's face. Can someone help me unpuzzle this one, thanks
You never said if it still irritates you to think about this guy, or if you ever do still think about him - but I guess you must do sometimes if he was that annoying... I'd say your dream represents you wanting to let go of your anxieties connected with this guy, or that there are other anxieties right now that you should rise above (because of the leaping); I'm not sure which but you should be able to work that part out. The thing is, if this guy was the only or main person that ever made you anxious, your subconscious will always use his image in your dreams whenever you are anxious. Or if that isn't the case, it's more likely that your subconscious just wants you to forget about him, to tell you that your life has risen beyond any anxiety that he could have caused you in the past. I wonder if you still know the guy, do you still see him? Or is he just someone from the past that you see as he was then, an annoying trouble causer to you?
You know, seldom I think about him, Nothing too serious though, I hear about how he's in and out of jail. But he use to make me uneasy because I hated him so much and he was in all of my classes, yes, he was the cause of my anxiety problems at school. But now, i barely ever think of him, I just find out when he comes out of jail and whatnot.
Maybe you're anxious about something else then, and your unconscious is using his image to represent anxiety. Still, I suppose if he's been to jail he must be causing problems for other people too; so at least you know it's not just you, the guy really is a trouble-causer.
You know, I think you are right. I have been dealing with many issues in my life and I have been begging God to help me overcome them. I've been trying hard to overcome my anxiety, jealousy and depressed state and my mind is just telling me that I'm making progress. Thank you kindly for your input
