I'm in a house that I don't know in waking life, and I am holding on to a very long green lead/leash attached to a small, very cute puppy. The puppy is walking toward the front door of the house and goes outside, with me still holding on to the leash, far away at the other side of the room. I think that it is going to go for a long(ish) walk and then it comes right back in. I realize that it just wanted to go out for a pee or poop for a second but the weather must be bad so it went back inside right away. All this time the puppy is very tangled up in the green lead. Then the puppy comes back to me and he lies on his back and we are cuddling and playing very happy together. He is still on his lead. I think that this puppy is going to love me and protect me when it becomes a big strong dog. Then I realize that it is not my house and not my puppy. The house belongs to a female friend of mine (this is an undetermined person who I don't remember visualizing and does not exist in waking life), and I am only going to come and see this puppy once a week. I think that's OK. If I see the puppy once a week it will still get to know me well and will love me and protect me in the future.
Interesting. I could visualize the details. The part about the dog not wanting to go out except doing its business reminds me of my late dog Tippy. She hated the cold and I'd have to practically drag her out to do her business in the wintertime. When she finally did, she wasn't selective about the spot. She'd do it right near the porch steps by squatting quickly and running back in.
My dog did that too. When there was snow on the ground, she'd just pee/poop right in front of the entrance to our apartment building, then run back in. Of course, I was a good dog owner and picked up the poop. Funny how in my dream I never thought about having to pick up after the dog, or even checking to see if there was anything to pick up.
