I'm having health problems, I often only remember bits of dreams...

I have been having reoccuring dreams about being afraid of the roof of a building. The latest dream, vampires were on the roof. I was on a college campus at night. I was almost the only one there, and it had been taken over by vampires. Not sexy true blood types. But monstrous and scary. My mother shows up and wants to go to the roof of one of the buildings. I follow her, but am scared. I know that vampires are likely on the roof. We reach the roof, and they are there. We run back down the stairs and am terrified they will catch us. I woke up...

I'm always trying to interpret dream with regards to my health issues. I have heard vampires can symbolize something taking away your energy...

You've hit on a good one with "taking away energy", and it's natural that you'd tend to interpret your dreams in terms of your health problems; but keep an open mind. A possibility that comes to my mind is that it may be that your focus on and concern about your health might be energy draining (mentally, physically or both) in and of itself. again, at this stage, keep an open mind.

Also ask yourself, how does this dream tie in with the "rescuing kittens" motif you mention in your post on KrystalFoxFire's thread? Might Marcia's response to her have some bearing on your situation?

Thank you for your response. I haven't considered the connection between the two dream themes. Both dreams have vulnerability. Also, just constantly worrying about my health could be draining my energy.
