Ive had a dream twice now about a kid I used to watch at a school, like at an after school program. I am a female in my 20's & he is probably 11 or 12 now. I've never found my dreams disturbing to the point of really trying to get answers, but this one is bothering me because I don't know what these mean. The first dream I had was that I am sitting at a table holding a baby & he's across from me sitting. It looks as though he's older & in the military. He looks at me & says, "Why didn't you just tell me?" I hand him the baby and he looks on it with nervousness & excitement. The second dream I had about him came about a month later. I'm in a theme park or something & he's following me around trying to get me to go on a date with him. I tell him to look me up when he's 18. I know these probably seem like perverted dreams on my part because frankly I think they are disturbing. I'm twice this boys age & I'm having these dreams about him. So please, before anyone calls me a pervert or a sicko I'd like to know what these kinds of dreams mean from anyone who might understand them better. I would greatly appreciate serious answers, thank you.

I think the first "serious answer" you need to hear is that no one here is going to think you're "perverted" or a "sicko." There's a great deal more to dreams than wish fulfillment or fantasy.

Can you think of any reason this boy would stay in your mind the way he has? Significant traits or mannerisms?

Alternatively - or additionally - he might represent what Carl Jung called the "animus" - a male figure of women's dreams. (Men have an "anima") Though this dream boy is patterned on the waking world boy, you'll find in time that they are at least as different as they are alike.

Give these ideas some thought and reply as you are able; and don't worry: we're used to weird dreams, not least some of our own.
