Hi, all. I have two recurring dreams that aren't bothersome but I am very curious as to interpretations. In the first dream, I have to go through a series of small openings to get to wherever it is that I need to go. Imagine the large inflatable obstacle courses that are so popular with kids' birthday parties these days, then make them much, much smaller. Often the openings are so small that I don't think I will fit through them (although many other people do fit). I am afraid of getting stuck. (and maybe that's my answer right there!) In the second dream, I find a large room in my home that I was sort of aware of but hadn't ever explored. When I finally do check the room out, I find that it's full of "treasures" - like, a closetful of designer clothes, lots of beautiful furniture, a refrigerator stocked with wine, etc. - things I can't wait to move into the rest of my house and use. I'm always disappointed when I wake up from this dream! I am aware that rooms in dreams are about compartmentalizing, but that's all I know. Also, oddly, the only dreams I ever have about my current home are in this form. Almost ALL of other dreams I have about being "at home" are in my dad's house, where I haven't lived in several years. I'd appreciate any input! I apologize if I broke any posting rules. Thanks.
Hi and Welcome. Dreaming about and discovering unexplored rooms is a representation of the self, as you probably already know. The things you find such as the clothing, furniture, and wine could express a desire for more material goods or they are an expression of a hidden expensive taste. Because you are disappointed when you wake up, you feel "stuck" in your current financial situation. Maybe a better budget is in order?
