So I was totally hungover and sleeping all day today and I had a dream ... not weird cuz I have dreams basically every night. Well this dream really creeped me out!! In my dream ... I woke up from napping on the couch. I went to the door of my apartment cuz I was gonna leave for some reason. I don't remember why. I was trying to open the apartment door and there was some force pulling it shut, not letting me out. I went to get my cell phone but it was disconnected so I was unable to call anyone. I went back to the door and was fighting with it some more, the force still keeping the door from opening all the way. Eventually I got the door open just enough for me to squeeze out into the hallway. In the hallway there was another obstacle for me to face ... the door leading outside wouldn't budge either and there were dolls that came to life and were after me. There were three dolls ... the first two I took out. The third one (this is the end of the dream) spoke. It said something I remember, but I do not remember what it said to me..... then I woke up for real. And this dream stood out because I knew I was dreaming while I was having it, I just couldn't wake myself up! ... Anyone know what this could mean???

Not being able to wake up from the dream emphasizes the feeling of being trapped.

The dolls could have to do with feeling like you can't be your real self - that you have to pretend to be someone you're not. That could be why you are feeling trapped.
