Last night at 1:00 in the morning...an internet auction was going to end that I had a great interest in. It was something hardly ever seen, and something I badly wanted. I had emailed the seller with a question, and although they had not been co-operative...I thought I still wanted it and resolved to wake up in time to bid.

During the night I dreamed, (I guess) and I saw myself go to the computer and bid on the item at the ending time and I saw myself win it for a relatively small amount. I felt euphoric!

I still felt this way when I woke up early in the morning and went to the computer to check on my win. As I did so I questioned to myself whether
I had really woke up to bid on it or not. I could tell that my wife was the last one to use the compter and that would have been early the evening before. My fears were proven true when I saw that the auction had been won by someone else for a very reasonable amount. I had not even bid at the end.

I was glad that the uncooperative seller had not received a high price, but I was sad for myself for what I missed.

Well, that was definitely a wish fulfillment dream.

Maybe next time you should set an alarm clock to get you up in time to place your bid.
