It's been a while since I last posted. I haven't had a lot of dreams lately that I thought were worth remembering until just recently. This dream starts out with me standing in the middle of a city. I don’t recognize any familiar landmarks. I didn't even spend much time looking at the ground. What I do notice, however, is a very clear, sunny sky. Suddenly I hear voices of terror around me. People screaming, the shuffling of feet etc. I glimpse buildings being engulfed by fire, one by one, all around me. They don’t seem to collapse though. The fire simply rises through them from the bottom all the way to the top in one, long concentrated surge (reminded me of oil, actually). I see it so clearly that I can still remember how the buildings all transition from clean skyscrapers to their charred black interior frames amidst the clear and sunny sky. Next thing I know, I’m driving alongside many other people towards a tunnel. We pass through it fairly quickly and immediately decide to pull over on the grass. Afterwards, I get out and talk with some other people - survivors. I don’t remember what we were talking about exactly but we stop. I can hear a rumbling sound from behind creeping closer. Now I feel as though the fire we were all trying to escape will no doubt catch us. But yeah, that's where the dream ends.
