    Hi Everyone.

I searched out this forum because I need some help. A few nights ago I had two dreams which seemed to be back to back. I don't remember much of the first but do know that it had a good vs. evil theme that required me to exhume a body from inside a car inside a building and at the end I had won but was in hiding in a cavern strapped at wrists, waist and ankles several feet above a very large dome in a huge cavern. The only people in this part ( in on the secret this place was ) were my best friend and a sister that plays a prominent role in my next dream.

Ok, here's where it gets rough. I started crying in this next dream, woke up crying, started crying again several hours later telling my wife about it, and still cry thinking about it now several days later.

I was swimming outdoors with my wife and a couple friends in a placid area with clear water, lots of greenery, and white brick ruins. As I was swimming I felt something fall past me and sink to the bottom. At this point several talking kittens asked me to save their friend, so I dove to the bottom and (as I was coming up with another cat) my sister grabbed me and helped me swim to the surface. That was her first appearance. I put the saved cat on shore, it said thank you... and I found it had two heads - one at each end.

My wife, friends and I stayed in the area for some time ( which seemed like days ) and several times I swam near my sister but never saw her on land. The cats were always nearby also, but don't figure too prominently anymore.

As we are about to leave for home I tell everyone I need to go tell my sister goodbye and and head toward a secluded pool that is landlocked. It's there that I find my sister as a mermaid that only lives for the moment and doesn't remember me. I said something to the effect of "she's lost now", started crying, and woke up in tears. It was a calm dream until this point, but is powerful enough to make me cry still

Will someone help me sort this out please?

    Hi and Welcome.

Perhaps the first part of the dream dealt with things buried in your subconscious. Cars are a means of travel and you are going on a journey through your subconscious trying to peel back layers to find the "body" or heart of the issue. You feel reluctant to go deeper and this is evident by the straps holding you down.

The second dream was pretty amazing. I've had similar dreams in the past. This time, instead of digging out bodies in a car, you are digging out cats in a body of water---same theme, different setting. Is or has someone in your past been "two faced" like the cat? Water often means emotions too. The water is pretty calm up until the end. You see your sister has become a mermaid and feel like crying. There's also that being strapped again, this time being "landlocked."

What I get from all of this is an unresolved issue of the past that has reared it ugly head. A past trauma in which a current situation brought you back to.

Thanks for helping me find a bit of perspective here, although I'm still as confused as ever.

Perhaps a few more details and what you feel needs to be resolved in the dream may help. Let us know.

Sorry about the long delay in responding, life happened!

Thanks for your help, I haven't gotten anything resolved that I'm aware of but its not quite so disturbing anymore either. Unfortunately the info I gave is all I had. Thanks again though.
