    Hello,

I find myself in some distant, fantastic land at night. The moon can be seen and two creatures (a cross between a spider and a man and another humanoid) are arguing about something. I then notice that they, and myself, are standing on a thread. The thread is suddenly cut, and we start falling into the sky. Shortly, the spider-like creature tries to grab me; but only captures entirely my hand. I also notice that I am a giant compared to it. I can see it's colors are violet and yellow. And, shortly after that, I notice that the humanoid from before is on top of a roof; he looks at us, and I notice what looks like a sunset/dawn sky not being able to illuminate the city, which resembles a standard city now (but is quiet; beyond us, there is no activity).

Then, it turns to daytime. I look at my leg. I find that the entire mid section is covered in hex cells. Most of which have a single color (for example white) that seems to represent something. The word 'nutrients' comes to my head as I touch one of those. I then look to my knee, and I see seven hexes with small blobs. They appear to be the color of red skin, and they all have markings that form a six-legged figure. Finally, I look to my foot. The lower part of my leg, along with it, are covered in what appear to be tiny lava rivers, and the feet itself appears like burn ground.

The spider is a common archetypal symbol and can have many different meanings. See Spider Dreams. A spider can be a symbol of creativity, but it can also have to do with feeling trapped or with a small thing having a big emotional impact on you.

The part about you standing on a thread makes me think of you trying to support yourself with something weak and flimsy. (Maybe you are trying to justify your behavior to yourself.) The two creature arguing could have to do with an argument that is going on inside yourself.

The moon can also symbolize change or illusion. (The idea of the moon changing in appearance but really always being the same.) This could also have to do with the idea of you standing on a thread - that you are giving yourself a false idea that you are supporting yourself on something strong, but it is really very week.

The spider-like creature not being able to grab you completely and you seeing that you are a giant compared to it could have to do with you overcoming whatever it is that the creature represents to you.

The hex cells on your leg and the idea of nutrients make me think of a beehive. Your legs are your means of getting to where you want to go, so the change in your legs sounds like it has to do with a change in your path in life.

Thank you for your interpretation. This I had not considered before, and seems to be accurate.

There is one last issue, however. When the dream comes about to my leg I touch one of the seven hexes with small blobs. I remember that part of the dream with somewhat more detail than the first.

Do the hexes changes when you touch them with the blobs? What do the blobs remind you of?

    Thank you for replying.

The hexes do not change when I touch them. The blobs are similar to the so-called "flower of life" ( Flower of Life - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ) in shape. Why they were in the dream is a matter of curiousity for me, since I hold no esoteric beliefs as true.

It doesn't matter what you believe; your unconscious is just using the blobs as symbols based on what you have heard or read. The flower of life symbol reminds me somewhat of a migraine aura so it might just be an easy symbol for your brain to come up with.
