This is a dream i've had when i was a little child - about 8 years old - but remained very vivid in my mind because the dream itself was very vivid - that kind of dream when you have the sensation that in fact you're awake and everything seems to happen in the real life. My family is christian orthodox by baptism, but we're not a religious family, meaning that in my childhood nobody told me stories from Bible and about saints lives. (Excuse me if my english is not very good). The abundance of symbols and the way i felt during the dream and a few days after made me belive it was an important dream. That's another reason i remember the dream with accurate details. In time I realised that the dream was full of metaphores, but i still can't give (and don't have enough knowledge to give) it an interpretation.

The dream started when i woke up, as i used tu do every morning, to go to school. When i was getting dressed i've heard alot of children speaking aloud near the block of flats i am living. I went to the window and asked them what was happening. They were enthusiastic (not scared, just like something interesting was happening in our neigbourhood). "Don't you know the news? Devil came on Earth. Come, we're going to see him", they said. At the time, i was not interested in the event in my dream, and went back to dressing up for school. When i was ready my best friend came, as she did every day, to take me to school. I told her "Did you hear what the others are saying? That the devil is here. Everybody went to see him". She was not very interested also (she was kind of an apathic girl on the real life also, so her answer didn't seem unusual). I was very sure i was awake and every detail looked like in real life.

After that, i went to my room to take my schoolbag. Even if it was morning, in my room it was dark as night, pleasantly warm, and there was a strange presence above my bed, in the place where i used to put my head. That 'being" (i knew it was a being) was formed by just two red-hot eyes, followed by an incandescent tail, (looking like the tail of a space ship at the take-off). At the end of the tail there was an incandescent ball, about as big as a handball ball (look at the attachmend. You may laugh because my lack of talent, but the image is pretty accurate). I got a little scared, but i was in the same time confused, fascinated and curious about it's presence there, while the children were looking for him outside. I took my schoolbag, went to the door and told my friend "The devil is in my room". We went out to go to school, and left 'the devil' there. When i got out my friend disappeared from the dream. I've "heard" (it was more like something told me through telepathy) somebody telling me "It's you I am going to make a stars crown". I looked left and, even if everywhere else there was daylight, above the small mound near my block there was night and stars.

That's another moment in the dream i can't explain. I didn't know anything at the time about the devil, but that he is a bad entity period. In my dream I knew that i have to pay with blood for the stars crown he promissed me so i ran back home to my grandmother to ask for help, because i didn't want to give my soul to the devil. I told my grandmother that he promissed me a stars crown and when i looked in the mirror i saw that around my head there was night and stars. I told my grandmother "I didn't ask for this, I don't want to pay for this" and right in that moment a big fire started on my balcony and i woke up screaming.

Two more things i want to add. I didn't have nightmares nor as a child, nor as an adult. And second, in my child imagination, the devil was not even near the image in the dream. I thought the devil was a little black creature with horns and tail.

It's interesting that the children in the dream are curious about the devil, rather than frightened, and that when you see the "devil" in your room, you are a little frightened, but also curious.

I think this means that you were questioning what you have been told about what is good and bad, and what you should or shouldn't be doing.

I think that getting a stars crown has to do with reaching a goal or becoming the person you want to be, and the dream was telling you that to do this you have to reconsider your ideas about right and wrong.

The devil in the dream could also represent a part of you that you had though of as bad and you were learning to understand and accept that part of yourself. You could have been starting to question some of the things that your parents/teachers taught you.
