Hello! This is my very first time posting on this website. I'm glad I found it! Ok, I want to get right into it...

This morning my Wife was telling me about a dream she had. We do this almost as soon as we wake up becuase it's fun to discuss them with each other. So, here's how HER dream went:

She was laying in bed next to me...hugging me...when she heared the front door being opened. We have a chain lock on it so after hearing the door "unlocked" she then heared something struggling with the chain lock.......it eventually opened and it came in. She said that, in her dream state, she knew or thought it was me because I sometimes work late night and come home in the morning making the exact same noises........but then she said that this thing came in the room and layed next to her and hugged her. After, she realized that she was already hugging me and didn't know what was holding on to her. She also said that when she was awake and aware of what was happening, that she still felt the presence next to her.....hugging her........I asked her is she felt scared and she said yes. I believe that if it is a good spirit in your presence you would not get scared......

So, I think there is something more to this, but I wanted to share this with others and get some different opinions......Thanks!

Since you said it was hugging her and she felt scared, it sounds like she was feeling trapped. Could there be something that is making her feel trapped in waking life?

She thought it was you and then it wasn't. Maybe she feels that there is a part of you that you are hiding from her, or that you have changed, or that there is something about you that she doesn't recognize or doesn't understand.

Was she in the middle of a true dream or was she just falling asleep or just waking up? Sensing a strange, frightening presences is a relatively common hallucination when you are half awake or half asleep. Some scientists believe that it comes from a primitive fear of having a large predator try to eat you when you are in a vulnerable state.

Well, she said that she was already awake and she could still feel the presence behind her. Yeah, this last year has been the hardest for us, so I can understand where you are coming from.....Thanks! Gotta get back to work for now lol
