My Dream. I was standing in front of a house (not mine) with what I felt was my mother on my right. We were looking outside and in front of us was a higher then us snow bank consist of very fine snow. I leanned forward and left a print of my body in the snow (like we do angels when we were kids) then I woke up.

What do you think it means? I don't understand it so far.

It sounds like you are looking for a way to "leave your mark".

Have you been thinking about what you want to do with your life? Your mother in the dream could represent someone that has guided you and enabled you to be who you are today, which will help determine how you live your life in the future. Your mother in your dream could be your actual mother, another person who has guided you in life, or even a part of yourself.

Snow melts, so there is also the idea of impermanence in the dream, and thoughts about growing old and dying (making snow angels is a child's activity - you're not a child anymore.) What are you going to have left behind when you die?

Thanks Marcia - strange you would say this, I'm not usually a person who will look to leave a mark for any reasons. I say this because I haven't done this in the past or maybe don't notice it that way.

The mother figure is difficult to isolate, as you mention it could be a close friend or anybody comforting.

The snow bank leaves me perplex since it could have many interpretation, cold, white for goodness or wet for tears.

My thinking of the whole picture is that something (maybe in the family) will happen were it will be bigger then me and I'll need to convey to someone in order to solve it (leaving my print could indicate that I'm the solver).

    Confusing isn't it. :spinhead:

That sounds reasonable. What kind of big thing would you expect to happen?

I don't see it yet but I'm thinking maybe a brother or sister going broke (bankrupcy), the tragic lost of one of them or one of my parents.

In all I don't see why leaving my print in the snow would mean something regarding these losses which is puzzling.

I'm assuming I'll know when it hits me...

    Any taughts?
