I had a dream last night that I was being attacked by a serial killer and ended up killing him. Then a woman appeared who was apparently my girlfriend in my dream yet I have no idea who it was in real life. She was distraught that I had just killed someone, I explained what happened and confessed to her that I was a serial killer too. Then this guy (my friend Matt in real life) shows up and kills her and says "no offense man.....its just buisness" and hands me a phone and says "its for you"

I have no idea what this means but I have never had a dream where I am serial killer and thought it was kind of interesting. Any insight as to what it means?

It seems like the serial killer represents a part of you that you think is dangerous. He could be your shadow, the part of yourself that you don't like to acknowlegdge that you don't want to see.

The girlfriend could represent your softer, more instinctive, feminine side, your anima. The dream could be saying that you intuitively understand that you need to accept the "shadow" part of you.

When you say that you are a serial killer, too, it is a way of you acknowledging that part of yourself.

That could also have to do with Matt saying "it's for you" - you can't avoid acknowledging who you are.
