I don't usually dream or I don't remember them so this one was strange & really upset me out for some reason & yet it was not really a nightmare just felt really bad.
I was in a home from my past or at lest it seemed similar but different, my husband & son were there too but not my daughter. I went to the bathroom & while there I saw myself walk past me & go into the stall next door, yes there were two ?? I was shocked & felt scared, I called out my name & the me next door answered. I woke up feeling really freaked out & anxious so much so I had to get up & go seek company. As I said I very rarely remember dreams & if I do its for a very short time & then they are just gone completely ( this I have always thought strange in its self ) but this dream although I haven't re dreamed it is staying in my mind. Can anyone help as to why & what

Welcome to Dreamland! And to dream logic. The rest of your home may be a perfect replica of a waking world home; but if "You" is going to use the bathroom at the same time you are, obviously there has to be a second stall!

I've never had a dream where I met "Me", but I always see Bobs and Roberts as representing some personal trait or other. I think it's possible that "You" represents your Inner Self: the mental (and perhaps physical) processes you're unconcious of. You might try keeping a pad and pen on the bedside stand to make notes on other dreams you remember. I could be wrong, but I don't think this one was intended to scare you.

I don't know why exactly, but I find observing myself in a dreaming state or in a sleeping state (such as in an OBE) frightening.

Maybe it is because it shows that there is another "me" that the dreaming me can't control.

But from whom you might learn some valuable lessons.

My own experience: You go into dreamland to learn, (and I think that learning is on both sides), not to control.
