I'm with my grandmother in (I think) the mall. She wants to buy me dinner so I tell her I want sushi. We go into a sushi restaurant that seems relatively small from the outside. However, inside it's the size of an Ikea warehouse (ie. HUGE). The sushi-warehouse has many aisles but you can only enter the first one from the far right as all of the rest are blocked off. This blocking off creates a large area in the front of the store with hundreds of sushi vendors lining the walls. I get a menu and grandma and I decide to go down the aisle to see what's in the back of the store. While we walk (the aisle is very long) I look at the menu, which has only sashimi (just the raw fish) and no sushi (fish with rice, etc.). I find this strange and annoying since I'm a vegetarian and won't eat fish in the dream (although I do eat fish in my waking life). I look up from the menu and notice that the aisle we're walking down is pretty dark, but the kind of dark you get when you're in a room with heavy drapes in front of the windows or when you're pretty far under water. In fact, the light that is in the aisle sort of shimmers on the walls like it would if we were under water. The air also seems to be blueish. We reach the end of the aisle and see that it opens up into a very long and wide corridor at the very back of the store that looks like it's going through construction. The floor is dirty with saw dust and there are loose cables and ladders everywhere. It's still the same strange "dark" from earlier. Many aisles come off from this corridor, all going toward the front of the store. Grandma and I decide to walk down this corridor and see if we can find vegetarian sushi. We walk for a while and then see a huge living room from a very rich house that seems to be on a lower floor than where we are (like a hole was cut in the floor above this room and we're just looking down to view it). In the living room is your typical family setup: mother, father, three kids. I know, however, that these people are actors and that this area of the sushi store is actually a place to buy furniture. We walk around this area and keep going. There start to be largeish (mabye 5 feet across) holes in the floor that are marked off with bright yellow police tape. Some of the aisles coming off from the corridor are now also marked with police tape and they're completely pitch black. My grandma and I stay in the large corridor. We keep walking until we reach another of the living room setups. It's the same thing as before, but with a different family of actors. We pass by this one and finally find the vegetarian sushi. I'm extremely excited for a second but then decide I'd rather look at the families than get sushi. We walk past several other living room setups until we reach one I immediately like a lot. The family consists of the mother and father and then three boys, maybe 9 of 10 years old. I decide I want to live here and my grandma doesn't seem to object.

It seems that this dream is saying that you are very dissatisified with something in your life (hundreds of sashimi vendors but no vegetarian sushi).

The families that are not real families may mean that your dissatisfaction has something to do with family life.
