I have a recurring dream in which I am sitting in my bedroom, back to the window doing something. What I am doing I can never remember but all I know is that I am engaged in something in my silent room when I am disturbed by a loud thump on the window. As I approach the bright window I begin to hear birds squawking, as I near the window the wall disappears and I see my backyard filled with thousands of seagulls. The sound of all of them is overpowering. Some nights I will see the dying seagull that collided with my window on the roof below my window. Other times the roof will be empty.
I'm just curious as to the meaning of this dream. It interests me because most of my dreams are very foggy and nonsensical but this dream is very vivid and consistent. Also the yard I see the gulls in is my own, in Southern Ohio where I have never seen a sea gull.
    Thanks in advance!

I associate seagulls with scavengers - picking up and eating the garbage that people leave around. That and the dying seagull makes me think of negative issues from your past that you are trying to get rid of.

But I grew up near the seaside and have seen lots of seagulls, so the meaning might be different for you. Can you relate to my interpretation?
