I was looking at a picture of Saturn and someone said “It has 50 years of life left.” I said “Wow, I’d like to live to see that. I might not make it but I’d like to be around to see what happens.”

I think this dream was inspired by a few things. First, my dad's real sick and needs risky surgery, he's 78. Second, there's been a lot of talk in the media about global warming and some of the effects that have already occurred, such as receding shorelines and native fish and wildlife migrating further north or south, creating problems with food supply and markets. Third, the student I work with in high school is currently doing a project on black holes in space and what causes them---a star losing it's energy and the iron core becoming so dense that it sucks everything in its path in the Event Horizon (the point of no return).

I feel rather koo koo brained right now!
