I've had quite a few dreams where I am running and leap very high into the sky. The first time, I was leaping across the county I live in, nothing else happened. After that, it was mostly me in my yard, testing how high I could go. Every night I dream of this I get anxious the first few times I go up

This morning: from what I can recall, I was not running. I was taking a few steps and launching myself high into the sky and sort of floating down very slowly. I did that about 3 or 4 times then I noticed my mother and sister standing on the porch watching me. In my dream, I felt proud like I was showing off. I went for it again and collided with the power lines, nothing happened, I just went higher. Then my family called my attention to a octopus in the sky. I hear my mother say "oh, she's going to get a picture of it" I flew up a few more times trying to get a good pic with my phone but before I could it disappeared and I woke up :/

I think this dream is about just what you mentioned - testing how high you could go, metaphorically that is. It sounds like you are testing your abilities and thinking about what you can do with them. Maybe you are ready for a change in your life.

The fact that nothing happens when you collide with the power lines can be a message that something that you considered to be a threat really isn't that serious.

An octopus, with its many arms, makes me think of juggling different tasks. Maybe you are worried about how much you can handle.

You take pictures of things in order to be able to remember what they used to be like. The dream could be telling you to remember how much you have changed in the past and how much more you can change in the future.
