I'm in a pet store and a scientist, who reminds me of evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins, is showing off catfish in a bowl shaped like a pod.

Then I'm sitting at a table with my sister and her boyfriend and we are playing a game that is played like a game of cards but using a chessboard and saltine crackers as the cards/chesspieces.

Saltine crackers/Catfish - makes me think of Pepperidge Farm Goldfish crackers.

The rows or columns of a chessboard can be thought of as stages, similar to evolution - as can the numbers on cards.

Maybe the dream is about looking at all the steps that are involved in some undertaking.

That could be.

I think it also may relate to finding pieces of the puzzle or finding the right fit. The dream is confused and gets two games mixed up as well as using items that don't go with the game.

The game of life? "Evolving" ?
