Dream: 9/24/05

First part of the dream I'm witnessing a disturbed man roam around a housing project. He has a rifle and he says he is holding a baby hostage in a vehicle. Then this gross, vomitus substance comes running down his mouth. It's light green with white streaks in it and resembles string and packing foam material.

Second part has me downtown where I live. It is nighttime and all the stores have been abondoned. I roam around searching for a place that is open. The pavement on the roads has been dug up, now it's just dirt. I get the impression it is some sort of holiday. I find one place that is open and it is taking me a long time to put on and lace up my boots. I don't remember why they were off to begin with. Two women are waiting impatiently for me to get done. end

The man vomiting and later the road being dug up makes me think of you trying to cleanse yourself of something.

Wow! You could be right.

One thing, I came down with a cold on Friday. My immune system is trying to get rid of it.

Another thing, a good friend of mine has recently been diagnosed as having a tumor on her pancreas. This concerns me greatly. I think the dream could be related to these two things.

I hope you feel better soon, and I hope everything turns out OK for your friend.

Thanks. She had surgery last week to remove the tumor. Now we are waiting for the pathology. It looks like she may need chemotherapy. :cry:
