I keep having dreams in which I am doing some sort of task to win the affection of a girl. The dreams are never the same and the girl is never the same. I don't believe the girls are real people i've met, they are just randomized but always very pretty and i'm attracted to them. The thing about these dreams that bothers me is, i have been with my girlfriend for 3 years and i'm very much in love with her. This first dream has been the most vivid. in the dream this random girls mother had begun to steal my stuff, saying if i wanted it back i must never see her daughter again I continually refused her threats.then her whole family, my girlfriend (who was standing there most of the dream disapproving of what i was doing but allowing it at the same time. As i have had this sort dream several more times she has slowly phased out and is no longer in them at all.), and i were sitting around a dinner table eating when the girls mother hands my a check and a legal document. the check for 2500, the document a restraining order on me from her daughter. she offered the check in exchange for my signature. i told her to fuck off and then walked to her daughter and hugged her. thats when i woke up these dreams have me very emotionally confused for the first 10 minutes i wake up. I don't understand why the theme is recurring. the only thing i can think of is that currently my girlfriend and i are in a long distance relationship due to school and its very frustrating to me because i love her but i'm in need of psychical contact which i cant have for long periods of time.
I think you could be right, that the dreams could be about your need for physical contact, since they are never about the same girl, so they aren't about a specific person in our life. I think that in the earlier dreams you were more worried about what your girlfriend would think about you having these feelings, but now you've gotten used to them. The check that the mother gives you could be a reminder of the rewards that you get from being faithful in your relationship with your girlfriend.
