I was taking a nap this afternoon and had a dream that struck me as odd.. and probably filled with some sort of meaning that I'm not able to figure out. Maybe someone can give their insight? My husband and I were sitting up against the wall of a school on the grass watching a baseball game. We were telling someone about this obscure sport we had recently heard of in a movie that has finals in Canada. (no clue what the name of the sport was, haha) As we are talking, I notice beautiful birds gliding by in the wind.. not flapping their wings.. just floating almost. A beautiful bird with both light and dark blue markings floated by and I pointed it out to my husband, asking him "Is that a blue bird, or a blue jay? I can't remember." He told me it was a blue bird. Then, a HUGE bird with rainbow colors on it's wings flies by.. wings flapping hard, showing off all the colors. As it came closer, I realized it was an owl.. but colored unlike any owl I'd ever seen. It started flying straight towards us.. and I ducked my head behind my husbands arm b/c I was scared to look at it. I kept my head there, begging my husband to take it off of my leg once it landed, but I was terrified to look at it, thinking if I looked at it, it would attack me... but my husband and the girl sitting next to me were both staring at it and it wasn't hurting them. My husband finally took it off of me and walked off with it. When I stood up, I smelled something awful, and looked down, to see that the bird had pooped all over me and the ground. I was angry, and kept saying "The d*mn bird sh*t on me!" over and over as I walked to my house. When I got inside, I saw my husband calmly talking to the bird and sticking it in the refridgerator. I said "why are you putting it in the fridge? you can't keep it there! why didn't you let it go outside?" to which he replied "I don't think he's healthy, I want to wait a few days to send him off." and I was so confused, thinking, why the h*ll would he put the bird in the fridge of all places? Then.. I woke up feeling just as confused! Sorry thats kind of long. Any thoughts?
Hi and Welcome! What was the name of the baseball team? If you know, was it something like "The Jays" or "BlueJays?" Many teams have bird names. Had you recently been to a baseball game with a team with such a name? Owls can symbolize wisdom, although in reality they are no smarter than any other bird. The part where it poops on you could mean that someone you thought highly of or whose advice you trusted turned out to either betray you or let you down.
