Hello i'm new to this and i REALLY could do with some help!

I will start off by telling you that i do not often have dream recall, and whenever i do they re very hazey and do not flow, however on the night of the 26th December '06. I hadn't had any dream recall for the whole of that week, and i haven't had any since. The dream on the 26th was by far the clearest dream i have ever had and i can replay it in my mind like i'm watching a movie.

The dream involves me walking my dog (a Border Collie called Max) in a place that i know i have been before but i can not recall it, my dog breaks off his lead and runs away down an alley way, obviously i follow, but i can not find him - i decide the best thing to do is wait at the point where he ran off, as that wa where he would most likely return. So i stand and wait calling out his name (Max) Then after sometime (i'm not sure how long, but quite sometime) he comes running back to me, and on his left side is an A4 piece of paper stuck to him, on the paper is a list of possible people the dog could belong to (i knew straight away who the letter was from), my name was at the bottom of the list... and my name was the only one to have photographs attached to it. The photos are photos of me that i own. Other than the list of names and the photos of me are contact details of the person who found Max and put the list on him (that person is a girl that i fell in love with back in April but never had the confidence to tell her so she never knew, anyway we both went our separate ways in September (for University) and i didn't think much about her, and i hadn't thought about her at all for the past month and a half until the dream.) the dream then skipped to us meeting up in a place that i can't remember and we chatted away but really clicked, like i've never clicked with anyone else, we seem to lose all track of time, but then we have to go back to our homes and we agree that we would definitely meet up again. That was the end.

The questions i have are:

First and foremost what one earth can it mean, what with notes on dogs and all?

What is the theme? i keep thinking fate...what do you think?

Why am i dreaming about her when i've not dreamed about her before?

What should i do...because it has really worried me and i feel i need to act upon it?

any advice, or interpretation would be greatly appreciated!

Well, first of all your dog ran away from you. Dogs can represent loyal companionship, obedience, or a state of being wild and untamed. Which "dog" ran away from you?

Second, the part where many make claim to your "dog" could mean that you feel taken advantage of and not getting your fair share of something.

Finally, looking at the appearance of the girl, perhaps the message is companionship. Do you feel some guys (dogs) have all the luck?
