just woke up from a very unusual dream.. This is the 2nd time this month I dreamt of Pom Pom my dead dog... The first time I dreamt of her when My x and I was fighting and broke up... just to realized my x also dreamt of Pompom that same night. Then just now,I dreamt of Pompom again... I was in my old room when I saw her. Her eyes was so dry and white... she was like a stuffed animal then I went out of the room taking her.. put her into a tub full of water.. thinking maybe she was thirsty..then put her in the tub. Then she woke up...I dried her up then she became a lil child... babied her.

A dream about a dead dog represents the loss of a loyal acquaintance. Whether that person was loyal or not is irrelevant. What matters is that YOU believed s/he was loyal. Being in your "old room," is suggestive of your feelings of security while with the dog. The stuffed animal aspect represents that the relationship you mention has "dried out," become stiff and inanimate (without life). The actions you take to revive the dog may be those same ones that revive you (and/or the relationship) after the loss. Water represents the emotions, which could mean you must nurture the feelings. Nurture becomes the key word as you baby the dog that is now alive. It means to take care of yourself and your feelings.
